but now it's all peaceful and quiet... nobody to disturb me... my ideal way of spending the day... haha... but of course i'm waiting for d 'jamming' session i'm going to have later with wanqiu n jovi... that would really make my day... whee~

clearing dust II

wahaha... haven't been updating for a looong time... think this title is going to be reused quite a few times...

a lot of things have happened since last time...

got back my results... n realised i failed 2 modules... authoring 1(predictable) n 2d animation...NOOOOOOO... aiyah... just repeat lor...haha... had a long talk with eric tan abt how to settle d 2 modules... so next sem i'm going to take a total of 8 modules... taking motion graphics to replace authoring 1...

n i wun be around for the next few days... my grandfather just passed away... so have to go to m'sia to settle d funeral stuff... pls pray for me... i don't know how i'm going to handle d rites...

sometimes i really want to knock my head really hard against the wall and make myself think clearly. very clearly.

WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING IN A COURSE WHERE MORE THAN HALF THE TIME I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I'M IN IT?

okay... that was a rant. it's ok if you don't understand what i'm talking just now...

but seriously i should really reconsider my career path... especially when one half of me hates it to the core and have not the slightest idea why i'm in such a course... and the other half of me likes it and dreams of all the wonderful dreams and have all the ambitions that might not come true...

and i'm not exactly good at what i'm doing now.

if you know me well enough then you would probably know my mindset when i make important decisions like choosing my career path. i must be guaranteed at least some percentage of success before i step into something... if not, at least there will be a safety net will be somewhere nearby...

at the start i thought i was reasonably good in drawing.

until the day came where sense was knocked into my head.

and then i go screaming:WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING HERE?!

man... so lost and confused now...

and at the rate i'm coping with the stress i think i will really become a loner... with the bad tamtrums and all... and i think i should... should not always be so reliant on others' company... maybe i should learn to be the lone ranger i used to be...

anyway for those who want to know(hint hint: wanqiu and jovi) this coming studio project(or more like this studio project... it has already started...) we are supposed to do a 10-30 sec animation on two characters interacting with each other...

my story was about a timid cat who's afraid of water(almost any cat is... but there are exceptions...) and he saw his owner preparing a bath for him... so he decided to run and hide away at some dark storeroom... but then he and a mouse dashes out of the room... apparantly he scared of mice too... and his owner sees him and catches hold of him and gives him a nice soapy scrub-down... with him giving a sour face....

this afternoon i showed my lecturer who's in charge of my group... i was trembling when i showed him my idea... was so stressed out because he's the one who assesed my rice sack animation and said the concept, idea and timing of the animation was good... of course i had to keep up the standard... he looked at my story and was ok with it... and then he asked me: you sure you want to animate the cat?

i paused for a while before i said yes hesitantly.

after that i wanted to knock myself against the wall...

the last time i tried to kill myself by animating a swing... this time round it's a cat...

argh... looks like i really have a lot to do these 3 weeks... and of course will not be updating...

night and back to work... gotta improve the storyboard...

dunno why... after i got into nyp i had more friends... but the irony is i feel lonelier than my days in sec sch when i just had wanqiu and jovi as my best buddies... guess it just might be my distrust of people getting hold of me...
